*etsy treasury: welcome 2010 gems

"I vividly remembered the flat black color of his eyes the last time he’d glared at me — the color was striking against the background of his pale skin and his auburn hair. Today, his eyes were a completely different color: a strange ocher, darker than butterscotch, but with the same golden tone."
~Bella Swan, Twilight, Chapter 2, p.46

this necklace features "liquid topaz", eyes of the cullens, only the cullens have these beautiful color eyes!

20" inches chain, approximately 20.25" inches total length.

will come with a organza gift bag!

please convo me for any custom pieces!

*feature of the week: sweetbutnotsour

"Who's Your Daddy?" Stan says.

This doll here stands about 8 inches to the top of his hat. His head, hands, shoes are made up of polymer clay, while the reset of his body is made of a wire armature and stuffing. But since he is holding his cane, he really isn't too poseable! His suit, fur coat and fur hat are all hand-sewn by me, myself. He's wearing a small gold-tone chain with a polymer clay pendant in the shape of the Superman symbol, but it stands for Stan the man!

His cane is an eight-ball on top and is entirely made of polymer clay.

Please remember that these dolls are not made for playing with or for children. The are Art dolls and meant for display purposes only! ~sweetbutnotsour

(this one is mine!)
"Bad@ss!

I had a REALLY hard time deciding to part with this bracelet. Its completely and utterly amazing! I am sooo tempted to keep it for myself.

Made up of a smooth wide nickel free silver cuff, a large richly detailed sterling silver plated chevron tooling and a huge skull. All of it has been mold to fit together to look like one piece of metal. Its adjustable with some muscle but i wouldn't recommend adjusting it too much. Just enough to get it on and off. Repeated adjustment can make metal brittle over time.

This is a HEAVY bracelet. Its such a statement piece.

This coordinates with all of my other "Bones" pieces for sale in my shop.

Measurements:
Adjusts to fit size 6, 7, 8 or a 9" wrist.
2 1/2" wide from the top of the skull to the bottom of the tooling. (Wow! That's big!)" ~BellaLili

this is an item which i have from BellaLili and i just love it. i love it so much that i finally remember to blog about and show this item. i've had it since this PAST summer. BellaLili  makes limited pieces so once the item is gone, it's really gone! the funny thing is, i saw the identical item on etsy the other day. i know, even i have similar items that many other sellers have especially my recent Twilight craze. but in this case, i mean identical in the entire store, including descriptions, almost word for word. i don't know about that...

the knock off bracelet that is on etsy right now is selling for more than BellaLili's original price.  it's like an aspired designer who knocks off an item from Marc Jacobs and sells it for more?!?! but people are buying it because they never knew it was designed by BellaLili first.

well, enjoy her store, here, BellaLili  is truly an original!

*the sexiest man alive 2009 - johnny depp

yeh! the most talented actor alive! i looked at the first 16, there's david beckham and robert pattinson, but no brad pitt! so i stopped. at least johnny depp made it to the cover, his 2nd time. he was on the cover in 2003. congratulations!

People Magazine:
Break out the Bordeaux, the whoopee cushions and the bangin' Keith Richards guitar solos, because the 2009 Sexiest Man Alive party is officially under way. Bringing the fun with him wherever he goes – whether it's onscreen in fizzy roles like Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise or at home with his family on their private Bahamian island – is just one reason why Johnny Depp, who also scored the honor in 2003, has joined an elite club of two-time SMA title holders (only Brad Pitt and George Clooney have matched the feat). At 46, the father of two still reigns as Hollywood's most irresistible iconoclast; as one-of-a-kind as his beloved 15-year-old boots and as smoldering as his favorite Cuban cigars.

"Johnny Depp has magical powers. He's unlike anyone else,” says actress Isla Fisher, who's married to Sacha Baron Cohen. "He’s funny, generous and clever. It’s just a shame he’s so hard on the eyes."

DAVID BECKHAM
Why is the 34-year-old soccer phenom one of the sexiest men alive? Just ask his wife Victoria. "David is a wonderful husband. He is kind and incredibly romantic," she tells PEOPLE. "He is a brilliant sportsman and an amazing father. He idolizes our three boys, and this is what makes him 'the sexiest man alive' to me."

*10th annual day of the dead celebration at hollywood forever

october 25, 2009
4 pm - 11 pm

it took ridiculously 2 hours to get into the cemetery. considering, i took short cuts on my exists and streets. next time, i have better ideas on parking!

we were there for almost 2 hours, once it became dark, there just seemed more people! it became hard to see and i didn't want to loose c so eventually we left. i didn't understand how more people showed up after dark, it was quite nice to see things and arts in day light...

amazing aztec dancers!

the coolest part was...we were on our way out,
this lovely family, mom, dad, and 2 skeletons!

the highlight of our trip was meeting hector silva again. he had a booth there, he was so kind and humble to offer c one of his prints! he kindly encouraged for c to always continue on his drawings! i was floored and didn't know what to say but thanked him as c picked out his favorite piece! we when had met him in whittier 2 weeks ago, even just his words to c, c was already inspired and encouraged. now, so much more.

i'm not sure the title of this piece...tbd (i took this with
my phone, will update with a better one later)

when i was a little, being creative and artistic was a given in our big family so it was expected of us to be able to make things or draw things. encouragements or inspirations didn't exist. i think if i'd meet someone like hector silva, it would mark deep impressions on me and that's so important for young people like c. he's already drawing drawing drawing and asking me if the drawings are better than hector's. i look at them and tell him, he's on the way there but not yet. he needs to practice a lot more!

i think he's inspired...he must be and i'm so greatful to hector silva! he's one of a very few humble great artist of our time!

overall, it was a great experience to check out this annual event!
